Maria Zeb Benjamin is a writer living and working on a Lake District farm. Set over a single night of lambing on a Lake District farm, A Night in the Lambing Shed moves between the immediate demands of caring for sheep and memories of a life lived elsewhere. A memoir of family, identity and belonging, it explores the complicated paths that lead us to the places we call home.
